Paleozoic Waratah Bay Victoria Tasmania Hafnium isotopes

This database contains all the data used in Chapter 5 of Umer Habib's PhD thesis. The data file contains the acquired Hafnium isotope data, previously published hafnium data and zircon geochemistry. The data can also be requested by emailing Umer Habib at umerhabib990@gmail.com.

Three hundred zircons from the representative eleven U-Pb analyzed samples (Habib et al., 2021) were marked and examined for the Lu-Hf isotope study. Trace element abundances in zircon were acquired at the same time as the measurment of the U/Pb isotopes and are calibrated on the NIST610 glass using the values of Jochum et al. (2011).
